Method19 Privacy Policy
Effective September 22, 2026
1 Scope and responsibility
Method19 is responsible for personal information it controls. This Policy does not govern a coach, school, club, payment provider, app store or other third party's independent practices. If a school or organization engages Method19 under a separate data protection agreement, that agreement may provide additional restrictions for information handled on the organization's behalf.
2 Age requirements
Method19 is not available to athletes under 13. We do not knowingly allow an under-13 athlete to create a profile or use the training service. If we learn that we collected personal information from a child under 13, we will disable the account and take appropriate steps to delete the information unless law requires otherwise. Contact support@method19.com if you believe this has occurred.
An athlete age 13 through 17 must use Method19 through an account created and controlled by the athlete's parent or legal guardian. The parent authorizes the athlete profile, controls subscriptions and team access, and may exercise privacy choices for the athlete. When the athlete turns 18, we may ask the athlete to assume control after identity and age verification.

4 Sources of information
We collect information directly from adult athletes, parents, coaches, organization representatives and support contacts; automatically from devices and service use; and from service providers such as authentication, payment, hosting and analytics providers. A team or organization may provide roster or invitation information. We limit organization-provided information to what is reasonably needed for enrollment and access.
5 How we use information
• Create, authenticate and secure accounts.
• Determine the correct age and parent workflow and enforce the under-13 restriction.
• Provide, sequence and personalize training; record completion and progress; and maintain an athlete's history.
• Operate team rosters, invitations, seats, permissions and approved coach visibility.
• Process subscriptions, payments, renewals, cancellations, taxes and transaction records.
• Send service, safety, billing, legal and support communications.
• Prevent fraud, misuse, security incidents and attempts to bypass age, payment or access controls.
• Analyze and improve reliability, usability and features using aggregated or appropriately protected information.
• Comply with law, enforce agreements and protect the rights, safety and property of users, Method19 and others.
6 How we disclose information
We may disclose personal information in the following circumstances:
• Parents and guardians. A parent account holder can access and manage the linked minor athlete's profile, training history, subscription and team relationships.
• Approved team personnel. For an adult athlete or parent who joins a team, approved coaches and program staff may see the training categories identified at enrollment, such as completion, assessments, self-check results and progress. Organization administrators may see roster, seat and account-management information and, if disclosed during enrollment, athlete progress information.
• Service providers. We use providers for payment processing, authentication, database and hosting, application development and delivery, email, analytics, error monitoring and customer support. They may process information only to provide contracted services and subject to appropriate obligations.
• Legal and safety. We may disclose information when reasonably necessary to comply with law, respond to valid legal process, enforce agreements, investigate misuse, protect safety or defend legal rights.
• Business transactions. Information may be transferred as part of a merger, financing, reorganization, sale of assets or similar transaction, subject to applicable confidentiality and notice requirements.
• With direction or consent. We may disclose information when the adult athlete, parent or authorized organization directs us to do so.
Method19 does not sell personal information and does not share personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising. We do not use minor athlete information for targeted advertising.
7 Team visibility and control
Team membership is separate from an athlete's individual training history. Before coach visibility begins, the adult athlete or parent will be shown the team, categories of data and authorized staff roles. The account holder may review current team relationships and may end team visibility through available settings or by contacting support. When team access ends, coaches should lose access promptly, while Method19 may retain the athlete's history for the athlete account under this Policy.
A coach or organization must use athlete information only to administer the identified program and support training. It may not use Method19 information for unrelated advertising, public rankings, recruiting distribution or disclosure to third parties without an independent lawful basis and appropriate permission.
8 Cookies and analytics
Method19 may use necessary cookies or similar technologies for login, security, preferences and checkout, and analytics technologies to understand feature use and diagnose errors. Where required, we will offer controls for nonessential technologies. Browser settings may block some technologies, but doing so may affect service functionality.
9 Retention
We retain personal information only as long as reasonably necessary for the purposes described in this Policy, including providing accounts and training history, administering subscriptions and teams, maintaining security and audit records, resolving disputes and satisfying legal obligations. Transaction and accounting records may be retained for up to seven years. Acceptance and authorization records may be kept for the period reasonably needed to establish the agreement. Backup copies may remain for a limited period before routine deletion.
When deciding retention periods, we consider the account's status, the sensitivity and volume of data, the reason it was collected, legal requirements and whether the purpose can be achieved another way. We may retain deidentified or aggregated information that cannot reasonably identify a person.
10 Security
We use reasonable administrative, technical and physical safeguards designed for the nature of the information and service. No storage or transmission method is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security. Users must protect passwords, use a secure device and report suspected unauthorized access promptly.
11 Choices and privacy requests
Depending on location and subject to exceptions, an adult athlete or parent may request access, correction, deletion or a portable copy of personal information. The account holder may also manage team visibility, communication preferences and subscription settings. Coaches and organization contacts may update their account and roster information subject to athlete and parent rights.
Submit a request to support@method19.com. We may verify identity and authority before responding. A parent may make a request for a linked minor athlete. An authorized agent may submit a request where permitted, but we may require proof of authority. We will not discriminate against a person for exercising applicable privacy rights. If applicable law provides an appeal right, reply to our decision and state that you are appealing.
12 State privacy notices
Residents of states with comprehensive privacy laws may have additional rights, including rights to know or confirm processing, access, correct, delete, obtain a copy, opt out of certain sale, sharing or targeted advertising, and appeal. Method19 does not sell personal information or use it for cross-context behavioral advertising. We use sensitive information, such as date of birth and account credentials, only for permitted purposes such as age routing, authentication, safety, service delivery and legal compliance.
13 International access
Method19 is operated from the United States. If you access the service from another country, information may be processed in the United States, where laws may differ from those in your location. Do not use the service where doing so would violate applicable law or these Terms.
14 Changes to this Policy
We may update this Policy as our practices or legal obligations change. We will post the updated version and change the effective date. If a change materially affects how we use information already collected, we will provide additional notice and obtain consent when required.
