Breath control you can use between pitches.
A guided breathing program built around a baseball schedule, so the way you breathe works for you on game days, off days and everything in between.
How ItWorks
- 01
Pick your day.
Each day, choose game day, off day or training day. The app gives you the right short sessions for it.
- 02
Follow the guide.
A breathing pacer shows you when to breathe in and out, with a tone at the end of each step. Step-by-step drills teach the skills, like filling your lower ribs evenly or breathing into one side.
- 03
Use it in games.
Practice a Reset Breath (in through the nose, long slow exhale) until it's automatic between pitches. Before the game, pick how you feel (flat, anxious, or needing to brace) and get a drill to match.
- 04
Check your progress.
Every four weeks, a one-minute check rates trunk rotation and shoulder range on each side, plus any pain.
- 05
Earn Phase 2.
Do the work and even out your sides, and Phase 2 opens: breathing in your batting stance, set position, catcher's squat and fielding ready position, plus mobility and activation drills. It's where you keep building, with a check every four weeks to track your progress.
What a DayLooks Like
- Game day: short sessions spread through the day: on waking, before practice, pre-game, after the game and at bedtime, plus the Reset Breath between pitches.
- Off day: a longer slow-breathing session morning and evening, and an awareness block.
- Training day: a short session before lifting and a cool-down after.
- Anytime: an open library of breathing exercises you can use whenever you want.
One Part ofthe Whole Plan
Breathing is supplemental, not another workout. Strength and conditioning remain the foundation of Method19, and Breathing runs alongside them: a few minutes before you lift, a cool-down after, and a reset you carry into every game. It sits next to Balance and Vision, each its own optional toolkit, so the framework considers how you move, see and recover, not just how much you can lift.
CommonQuestions
Most sessions are a few minutes. Game days add up to about 15–20 minutes across the whole day; off days include two longer, optional slow-breathing sessions.
